| Attraction # 1- The underwater aquarium The aquarium is situated 6 meters below water level and is accessible by crossing a 100-m. bridge. A small pass connects two observation rooms; one displays a reef, otherwise known as "The Japanese Gardens", and the other displays the deeper side of the bay, exposing different kinds of fish and corals. Visitors can stay underwater for hours watching through a number of windows. Each window exposes different underwater scenes, depending on the time of day and the season. Due to the fact that the observatory does not feed the fish and corals, a natural habitat has developed, attracting many kinds of animals who feed on corals, and these animals become the food of other creatures. At the top of the Observation Tower there is a balcony overlooking four countries surrounding the bay: Israel, Egypt, Saudi-Arabia and Jordan. | ![]() |
