All of the material in Arabic was translated by Rawan Naoumir, a 17 year-old student in the eleventh grade at the Rosary School in Aqaba, Jordan. Rawan's command of both English and computer skills enabled her to translate competently both the scientific material and other texts which are used in the site. Asaph, Nir and Rawan met several times in order to plan how to prepare the material in Arabic. Completed files were sent either by E-mail or on diskettes to the team in Israel working on the site.

We extend our thanks to the researchers who enabled us to include scientific data in this site: Dr. Rivka Amit from the Geological Survey in Jerusalem, who is researching soil salinity in the western margins of the Flat, and Yannai Shlomi of Kibbutz Samar who is researching the alluvial soil deposits on the Salt Flat borders. These researchers see in our site a suitable way to publish intermediate data from their work, prior to editing for final publication.
Our gratitude to Mr. Amnon Greenberg from the Arava Research And Development Center in Israel, and Mr. Samih Asfoura from Jordan, for their assistance in organizing the meetings between Israeli and Jordanian students.
We thank Ms. Carmella ben-‘Ammar and Mr. Doron Dramon of Madarom for their invaluable support in advancing scientific and technological studies generally in our school, and in the Yotvata Salt Flat Project in particular. Their assistance and appreciation of our efforts was of great value.
Mr. Dov Kadishai of the Rural Sector of the Ministry of Education has done much to advance education through internet in our school as well as the training of Nir, Asaph and many other pupils as computer advocates.
Ms. Andi Kron of Los Alamos and Ms. Nancy Immerman of Kibbutz Yahel contributed invaluably in transforming our Hebrew thoughts and texts to ones suitable for the English-reading public. Ms. Wafa Darousha provided similar service in the Arabic protions of the website – aiding greatly for our own students of Arabic, our peers in Rahme, and the general Arabic-reading public.
